Reports
Open Reports for the money view of your shop.
What you are owed
The total outstanding across every issued invoice, net of payments and anything written off. This is what is genuinely still expected.
Superseded invoices are left out. When an invoice is revised, only the current version counts, so a revision never double-counts against the version it replaced.
Aging
Aging groups what you are owed by how long it has been outstanding, measured from the date the invoice was issued.
The dashboard shows three groups: current, 31–60 days, and 61 days and over.
The Reports page breaks it down by payer, with four groups — 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days — plus the age of that payer's oldest open invoice and how many are open.
The by-payer view is the one worth reading. A single payer drifting past 60 days is a different conversation from a slow month.
Payer statements
A statement lists everything outstanding for one payer on a single page.
From Payers, choose Statement. You get a PDF showing each open invoice, what has been paid, and the balance.
Useful when a payer asks what they owe, or when you are chasing several invoices at once and want to send one document instead of five.
Storage exposure
The dashboard shows how much storage is accruing across everything in your yard right now — money that is building up but has not been invoiced yet, because the vehicles have not left.
Not something you can collect today. It is a measure of what is sitting in your yard.
Scheduled summaries
WinchWorks can email a summary on a schedule. Set it up in Settings.
- Daily, every morning
- Weekly, on Monday
- Monthly, on the 1st
All in your shop's timezone. You can send it to up to ten addresses.
Useful if you want the numbers without signing in, or want an owner who does not use the app day to day kept in the loop.
Exporting
Job and invoice lists both export to CSV from the button above the table, so you can open them in a spreadsheet.
Owners can also export the entire account as a single file from Settings — every job, invoice, payment and rate schedule. That is your data, and you can take it whenever you want.
