Billing and trials

The trial

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. No card is needed to start.

Nothing is limited during the trial. It is the whole product — every feature, your real data, as many jobs, invoices and users as you like.

The days remaining show in the top bar so it does not surprise you.

After the trial

WinchWorks is $99 a month for the whole shop. Not per user — add your whole office at no extra cost.

Subscribe from Settings → General & billing at any point during or after the trial. Payment is handled by Stripe; WinchWorks never sees your card details.

Managing your subscription

From Settings you can update your card, change billing details and read past invoices. That opens Stripe's billing portal, which is where your payment information actually lives.

If the trial ends before you subscribe

Your data is not deleted. You will be asked to subscribe to carry on working, and everything is where you left it once you do.

Cancelling

Close your account from Settings → General & billing.

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancel on the 3rd having paid to the 28th and you have until the 28th. You are not charged again, and you are not cut off early for time you already bought.

Before you go, export your data — owners can download the whole account as a single file from Settings. Every job, invoice, payment and rate schedule. Do that while you still have access.

Billing questions

Anything about a charge, a refund or an invoice for your subscription goes to hello@winch.works.

The in-app assistant can explain how billing works, but it cannot see your account, your subscription or your card. Anything specific to your account needs a person, and it will pass you to one.
